Enjoyed a very nice barbecue dinner here while we stayed at the hotel. We loved the staff, and the food was incredible!

This was the restaurant for our hotel (The Burgblick) and was a great experience. Theb advice on the choice of wines was very knowlegeable and sound.

Restaurant inside hotel Burgblick in a former butchery. Limited menu choice which is geared towards the size of the restaurant and kitchen. The meat is excellent and they have a nice choice of wines. We tried the Spätburgunder from Regnery and can recommend it. As resident of the hotel we also received a voucher for a free after or pre-dinner drink. Good service be it a little slow but we had the evening in front of us....

My husband and I stayed in the Burgblick Hotel for 3 nights and Ochs is the restaurant attached to the hotel. Out of the 3 nights we were there, this was by far our favourite meal. The restaurant isn't big, it used to be the slaughter house at one time so it's decorated to reflect this and I liked that you could see partially into the kitchen, I always like when I can see what is happening in the kitchen. Their food and wine selection was wonderful! My husband had the stewed ox cheek and it was so flavourful, the meat was so tender it just fell apart. I had the goat's cheese salad and it was amazing!! I actually asked the owner if there was any way they could deliver this salad to me weekly. The wine we had with supper was lovely and any of the wines you have in the restaurant, you can buy to take home with you...which we did! The next time we go back to Bernkstel-Kues, we will definitely stay at the Burgblick Hotel again and I'd be more than happy to eat all our dinners here.
