Based upon the reviews here, I was really excited to try Yamasaki...I can tell you that it is very overrated. The nori was very chewy and the taste was essentially flavorless (even with the spicy tuna). Grocery store quality at best and overpriced and overrated in every way, big disappointment. Fresh and quality food with friendly service

Quality of sushi which I have not found so far in Bern... fresh and simply delicious! The interior might not be the most cosy or beautiful (surely a matterof taste), also prices are not the lowest but all worthy because the service and food is amazing!!! Fully recommend!!!

These people knew exactly what to do. The only possible drawback to this place is the space is too small for any incoming crowds in the future. Because once people catch on, it will become overcrowded every single day. Need to get a space 4-5 times bigger soon. Or bigger still.
