Teehaus Tiergarten - Berlin

In the large park in the center of sedan, tiergarten, there are numerous places to make a stop and eat. This, after many visits, is the best for me. the place is magnificent, the English garden near the Bellevue castle which is the seat of the presidency of the republic. you can eat simple dishes at self service, or have lunch at the restaurant. the kitchen offers a little standard German cuisine, but the fish and chips is great. In the summer Sundays live concerts are held in the garden, very followed, at 4 pm and 7 pm.

Ordered vegan cake but was given cheesecake. Daughter didn't realise until halfway through. No apology given. In fact, clear that she thought we were making a fuss. Saw manager shout at another waitress in front of me because he wanted her to move to other bit of cafe. Not nice atmosphere.

Ok cake and coffee. Service quick and ok ???? Nice view to park. Clean toalet. It is nice place to have some refresment after walking in Tiergarten.

I've known the teehouse for children. it has changed in the course of the years of course. I like what has become of it today. it is nicely quiet, and you can enjoy the English garden. the children can play on the meadows around and tombs, in summer there is also a good concert that I can sometimes enjoy on my balcony. (better than the rail noise). for touries certainly also interesting = hansaviertel, zoo, victorious column, house of cultures of the world, federal office, lock bellevue, federal office, rich day, brandenburger tor. etc., all between 5 - 25 minutes walking. and then there was still my personal teehouse moment, many thanks to the chef and the crew bag there is a good service.

Max 10 feet minutes (if you know where’s going long. ;-) ) away from the victorious column.Nettes caffe / restaurant with a view of a landscaped garden. kuchen was very good. service nice and professional. more expensive, but ok if the position is worth it. the point I pull off because: unfortunately, the toilets were not quite clean as expected in a restaurant of this type.
