The flair of Rogacki certainly looks like it! The interior design is not super modern and stylish and does not make much of it, but that might make it right. However, I still get quality and customer proximity. And if you want, you can eat a little bit. I like to buy here and regularly! View all feedback.
What Leonid Hoppe doesn't like about Rogacki:
It’s a part market hall with a lunch counter and food served at the bar. It’s an old West Berlin place serving traditionally German food. The food I ordered was fresh and hot. Crispy fish with hot fries which was way too much to eat...for me. I would return to try the other dishes in this shop. They also sell food to go and food to be prepared at home too. Wonderfully friendly and animated staff. Great menu of German food and large portions. We didn’t order the right wine for our tastes but the list was good and well priced. Highly recommend this place.
I have been coming to this place for years. It has been featured in a few travel shows (including No Reservations by the late Tony Bourdain) and thus has become a tourist attraction. Over time, the cooked food quality has certainly declined. Now, I only...purchase fresh fish or smoked fish from their seafood counter.
A simple food market in a residential area in Berlin maybe a great experience for those interested in learning about real German cuisine. It goes far beyond sausages and beer!
Well every time I go to Germany I truly enjoy the food. When I read about Rogacki I was pretty excited to try it. When we got to the place and walked around it. It seemed like a farmers market. We checked out everything the...had before making a selection. I decide to go with the fried fish special it looked good but when I was about to pay I notice a big mouse running from under the fryer. That made question the hygiene of this place. It might have been a coincidence but I couldn’t eat there.
It's a little food market/shop where you can eat all the main staples of germany cuisine. On one side you have the meats (smoked, roasted, fried), on the other you have the fish and finally you have the bread and the sweets. You can choose...from all the options and eat at the tables (standing) or on the center bars where you can see your food being made. Really old school and you can see the locals eating there.
