What Gernot Voß doesn't like about Homemade:
Kleines nettes Cafè! Von meinem Mohnstreussel Kuchen habe ich mir jedoch mehr erhofft, mir fehlte irgendwie geschmacklich die "Liebe" darin, oder der "Wow Effekt". Der Käsekuchen hingegen war wesentlich besser und vor allem nicht so süß, sehr angenehm. Die Salate am Nebentisch sahen gut aus, das Personal war freundlich! View all feedback.
We stayed in berlin for the marathon in september and had a late breakfast here the next morning. it was excellent, very fresh and plentiful; fresh juice, minze tee, coffee and ruche, salmon and avocado. ( reviews write much later than we remember...we used to be able to travel to new places
They say they love vegans, but if they sit and ask them to have the meat products in a separate teller (because we wanted to share different dishes) they are too busy to do this and literally answered do it themselves what. then I asked for vegan breakfast, even if I wasn't hungry enough to be just to be sure that I only take vegan products and again, I asked if this is really vegan, that it is really vegan, and they are prepared and they are to treat the meats, and they came to us when it was half full, then they all came before us and they were all serving us. at this time our coffees were already ready. Eat: not worth it the vegan breakfast said brot, nuts, mixed salad, dried tomato, jam, tapenade, but when I got the dish it was a full big salat (very dry baptism of big green leaves, with small pieces dried tomato, same for nuts, small brothings) in the ground to the breakfast I was offered salat, which far away from the way they present it in the menu when it then mixed as a small part of the huge salat. after said that the commentary of the meat intake mixed in the salat makes even less sense. By the way, the brave and jams were very tasty, and after my man, the Serrano ham was also of good quality. overall we did not get what was advertised. disappointed, only because of a misleading menu and an rude waitress is really able to ruin a whole experience if they are not even sure to know what they eat. never come again, worth money: low. the waitress looks more experienced and perhaps more responsible while she says that the people come, it is full to let them go, while the other waitress is helpful, does not look like a person responsible, but she really understands what service is while she is welcome at the same moment other people and ask them to wait one because they are looking for a place for them. nonsense.

My friend and I have a nice breakfast and a small break from the walk. place approached beautiful. my friend and I ordered two rührei and a breakfast menu, coffee and...Juice eggs came on time. coffee was nice. but after that we realized that our breakfast menu is not served and that it takes some time. I asked the server is prepared and she said yes. as patient we waited a little longer. I asked another server and she said that she was sorry and that we should wait a little longer. after an hour of waiting our time ran out. politically I asked if we could cancel the order for the breakfast menu because we had to go. the server has interrupted me in the middle of the set with angry vote. her answer was (also with aggressive ton and body language): shady, I'm sure what you ordered and it wasn't an breakfast menu. when my friend saw the situation he told the girl: please do not do that so that the guests around us were embarrassed and the atmosphere was very unpleasant. the server showed no interest in managing the situation, but went on with their job. I asked the other server is there a manager because he should talk to her a little because this is not the way someone should talk to another person and in any case should never call her customers honey (in an angry ton, they show their finger in customer face). I got a quiet sorry from another server (which is also not verified what with our order, as we waited our food, they were eaten at the desk and had definitiw time to go to the kitchen and check what with it). it was a simple breakfast, not a slow meal. the situation could be treated with a simple excuse, I don't think I understood her order correctly and we would say no problem, next time we'll find out. Unfortunately, there will be no next time, because I will not put myself in danger of being treated everywhere.
Healthy, tasty, fresh food (with both meat and veggie options). An arty cafe that is still well organised the two don’t often go together! The lunch time special is great. Just under euros gets you soup, bread and a choice of salad alongside...a homemade lemonade. Delicious. Friendly service too. Note though that it is a small cafe so big groups will have trouble getting tables (there simply aren’t the covers). If I lived in Berlin this cafe would be a firm favourite.
