Nipped in for a breakfast as it was near to the hotel. Delicious coffee and toast with the most wonderful jam. My husband had ham and eggs that were good too. Quite at the time but very relaxing View all feedback.
A hot tip for those who are on the go in berlins! that this would have thought: an original, small caffeine according to old tradition right around the corner of the nikolai quarter, but from the most strenuous tourist due. I discovered the caffeine together with friends of hown. this is the beautiful visit to such things: they get a completely new look at their own city, adventurously also from those who otherwise prefer to avoid, stumble and stream on unknown because, here and there they find something new, that is old and often interesting, beautiful or good or everything together. actually we wanted to look at the excavations at the petriplatz and soon rebuild the petrikirche. Finally, this building from the 13th century was one of the oldest churches on today's berliner stock. when the war ruins were demolished in 1964, the foundations remained. the traffic of the inhospitable gertraudenstraße, there have been archaeological digs here for several years, which include not only the church, but also an old cemetery. it was little to see, but we have in the far away the almost invisible, nothing the less inviting facade of the caffeine on the petriplatz, and before everyone else we wanted to in there? had asked, we were already in the placid dining room, decorated with many puppies and all kinds of old toys. for my understanding a little deco, but my guests came from numerous louds of joy. the man, a normally quite reasonable actor and director, did not stand on the man who hardly took himself. they see that the taste is different. the two cried a little, and the fine smiled and gave voluntarily a return to their collection. it was like a time trip to old berlin. some seniors from the neighbourhood had gathered here, who were deepened in stimulating discussions at their home. we were kindly greeted and immediately asked a little that was quite enthusiastic about the warm dialect of my friends, and the ass were happy to finally hear something about me. the young waiter was also more real berliner and knew of him well, we got many information to the petri church. However, he was more critical for the necessity of the decoration of his mother, the chefin, apparently more critical for us in the silence. when we got our orders, the joy didn't know any limits. the guests from the ösiland had developed themselves green naturally immediately after their arrival in tegel to berliner white fans. but this delicious drink had to wait one because now was coffee time! the two were the first wind pocket of their life, with a whipped cream as it is. the whole caffeine was happy with them. After that we drank our green white, from which the two guests needed at least two to three units daily. it was a nice afternoon. I have to say that the women are in love with berlin?
They have good coffee and delicious cake. I love this place. I totally recommend having coffee there if you are around that area
Great little cafe in a non touristy area. Good ice cream, coffee, and cakes. Didn't order food, but saw others that did. Appeared good and has good prices
I got lost in Belin and wound up walking along the Spree Jungfernbrucke is fascinating and found myself at this magical restaurant in between lunch and dinner. Ordered the apple strudel and nearly died from happiness. Charming, oldschool cafe where service is perfect. Do try...the strudel
This Cafe was opposite our Hotel so we came here for Breakfast one day in early December. The staff were very welcoming and the Continental Menu offered a good array of choice along with further fresh offerings in the display cabinets. We witnessed a few...locals dining during our brief visit which suggests it is clearly a favourite with them within the community. Our Breakfast of eggs, toast and coffee arrived fresh and tasted great which set us up nicely for a day or exploring Berlin
