Great little neighborhood café with mellow music and a little bit of indoor and outdoor seating. I jumped off the M41 bus and was restored by a cortado and pastel de nata. Other good-looking pastries and small sandwiches were on hand as well. View all feedback.
What 4Rudi T 11 months ago on Google doesn't like about Espera Café:
The place design is pretty like hipster...second hand furniture, uncolored walls... The flat white was nice and the cinnamon cake just came out of the oven. The price was good as well. View all feedback.
Molly and staff at ESPERA Cafébar are the friendliest people I met in my several days in Berlin, and the baked goods and coffee were terrific. They bake everything there themselves, so they’re piping hot in the morning. I am already missing the cinnamon rolls :
I went to this cafe solely because I followed the reviews on google maps while seeking to satisfy a sweet tooth. I walked into the humble dimly lit cafe and walked out with a delicious chocolate/cheesecake monster brownie. I was satisfied with what I got but was initially hoping for pastries of a more local origin. What was offered were the typical desserts one can find in an American coffee shop. I wouldn't recommend if you're feeling adventurous but if your simply craving sweets then this is your place.
