I arrived for an early dinner and was seated in the lively bar area. Unfortunately, I had to wait almost 20 minutes before a waitress came to check on me, which was a bit disappointing. However, any lingering frustration disappeared as soon as I began tasting the incredible food. Their happy hour menu featured a wonderful selection of dishes, all set within the restaurant's warm and welcoming atmosphere. Despite the initial delay, the excellent cuisine and inviting ambiance certainly made up for it.

I also ordered the seared and roasted salmon for $29, and it was the biggest letdown of the evening. The portion was small, burnt on the bottom, and incredibly dry—completely lacking flavor. The green beans and carrots were simply boring, boiled vegetables with little to no seasoning. I could barely eat the salmon and ended up just finishing off the veggies. My friend ordered a Moscow Mule but was never informed about the mule menu. Instead, she was served a splash of ginger beer and Bacardi, as noted on the receipt. Our server was okay, but she seemed completely disinterested in our table and even walked away while we were placing our order. Overall, we were extremely disappointed. Our total bill came close to $100 with tip, and we both felt ripped off. I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone anytime soon—unless they’re looking for overpriced food with a view.

The Eggs Benedict were some of the best I've ever had, although I wasn't a fan of the fried potatoes due to the spices used on them. On the plus side, both the eggs and potatoes reheated well the next day. The service was friendly, and there's plenty of parking in their private lot, which is quite a rarity in Royal Oak. The owner and staff are very cat-friendly, especially towards homeless cats. They informed us that ordering a slice of carrot cake helps feed a cat. So, we all got a piece to take home! I'm planning to arrange another brunch with another meetup group I coordinate and I'm looking forward to coming back.

Great place for brunch. Was here for girlfriend's birthday brunch on Sunday. They were not really busy, service was prompt and very friendly. Great drinks menu and food was delicious. Ambiance has a feel of an old school bar with leather sofas and soft lightning. Would like to try them for dinner.
