Historic Boone Tavern Of Berea College

I love the history of this place. it is beautifully decorated and they feel like home. the personal is very friendly. I highly recommend eating in their restaurant. the food is prepared by wonderful chefs and delivered with great presentation to their table.

Amazing place with a lot of history. great personal and absolutely heavenly eating. our room is super cozy, clean and comfortable.

Very disappointing lunch! at 1:52 a.m. the hostess said: “Hurry, I must put you”. lunch is until 2:30 a.m. sketchy at best service. felt undesirable. the huhn am salat was hard, a first for my wife. my pommes with “processed Patty” pub burger were cold. I ask server if she could have kitchen to get me fresh hot pommes. she came back later to say friyer was “down”. had heard many great things, but that was unacceptable for a $54 lunch with 2 water

I love this place. In recent years it was three times. Very impressed by service atmosphere. Located on the campus of Berea College, Taverne is engaged in college students fulfilling the necessary working hours while gaining valuable life experience. The Tavern rooms are cheap, many have beautiful views keep the charming atmosphere of Yesteryear. The Tavern Restaurant offers classic Kentucky tea with modern updates. Don't miss the Hot Brown Spoon Bread!

Love the atmosphere and the city itself. The service was wonderful. The spoon bread was great and gluten-free. The French onion soup was so delicious. I love the salads we had too!
