The Publyk House - Bennington

Bacon and scallop appetizer was delicious! Salad bar had alot of choices and the fresh loaf of bread with maple butter was fantastic!!! Steaks were cooked to perfection! Great views on the deck!

Alyssa was a true professional . She was very attentive and engaging with my two children at the table. The public house is just how I remember from the 1990s always a great dinner. The cod dish was excellent

The food was very tasty. I enjoyed the blackened salmon and the bread w maple butter, but we felt a bit crowded with the table right next to us. We were also listening to a guy who was across the room (a bit noisy).

We were looking forward to eating here after driving by for several years. Very pretty interior but a bit noisy to me. Food was average. The exception was maple butter for bread was delish. Disappointed that they took the carrot cake off the menu although it was on the presented menu. It was my husband's birthday and it is his favorite. Overall it was fine but a little disappointing.

We come to the area 3-4 times/year. Publyk put out a brand new menu yesterday. Our food was not good. I ordered fish and chips and I am quite sure it was a packaged frozen product. My husband's strip steak was at least 1/3 gristle. The warm bread was cool. The restaurant was mostly empty and the hostess seated us against the wall and inches from a noisy table. Everything was overpriced. We will not return.
