Bella Siena - Benicia

This was a unique experience for us. The service from our waitstaff was excellent, but we felt like we waited longer than usual between courses and for water and drink refills. The food was well-prepared, but lacked flavor/spice. Even though it was good, we expected it to be more flavorful. We mentioned it was a special birthday celebration (noted upon arrival and reservation), but we were overlooked while the table next to us was being celebrated. Overall, it was a enjoyable new experience, but not one that compels us to return right away.

Higher-priced but excellent food. Worth the effort. Every item on the menu is a great choice. It was busy and bustling with multiple birthday gatherings, so the staff was occupied which meant they were a little less attentive than we would have liked. Nice big windows with sunset views of the bay. Good wine selection.

Love this spot, great venue for lunch or dinner, right in the water.

We had a wonderful overall experience at the restaurant. The only downside was that despite indicating on Open Table that it was my husband's 77th birthday, the wait staff did not mention or acknowledge it during our visit.

My husband and I enjoyed delicious cocktails and a nice dinner, in a beautiful environment (we gedimt outside). Everything was perfect.
