The pasta was cooked very well and the sauce was good. The price was more than fair! The servers were very helpful and friendly! The restaurant is homey but definitely has a „backyard grill party“ ambiance. Simple but cosy.
I was with a large group (12, I think). We all ordered a pasta dish. Most got the 200 g serving, which was a lot. I ordered the Abruzzo sauce (white, spicy) on agnolotti. It was unbelievably good and not like any pasta dish I’d ever had before. I ate every bite of my 200 g. Wish I knew what all was in it so I could try to make it. Our large group had several bottles of the house barbaresca—in fact we cleaned them out. And it all came to about 30 euro/person.
We were curious to try out this place with 400 types of sauce for pasta. It exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is not fancy and flies were a bit of a pest, but the food, just wow. We went for the culleto rosa and ragù Magno, both were spectacular. We took normal portion, which was 200 g of pasta each and with best intentions, could not finish it! We warmly recommend this place!
When there when staying at Villa d’Amelia Dropped in for lunch and liked it so we went back for dinner! Good menu with huge selection of sauces for pastas. Huge portions so beware! Excellent steak which was also big! All the food we had was really good and the staff were very helpful. Cost was vert reasonable.
We were staying at Villa d'Amelia, just down the road, and had eaten at two Michelin restaurants, so what we wanted was good, down to earth, Italian food and we got it. A great local restaurant offering every conceivable pasta and sauce.
