Main Street Cafe - Benalla

On visiting Benalla I was advised to give the Main Street Cafe a go from a cyclist friend. We found that the cafe had very friendly service a varied menu and good coffee. The 4 of us ordered the toasted Turkish bread with corned beef, salad pickles and mustard. All the ingredients were very fresh and was told that the chef makes all the pickles and sauces on site. The servings were generous and my wife and mother shared one meal. We'll be back.

Lamb bruschetta was very tasty and more than enough for lunch. Staff were friendly and efficient. Many people enjoying lunch there on a cold July day. Have eaten here several times and never been disappointed.

Always a delectable experience and most welcome. Handy to have toilets out back. Meals are great and well priced. Lots of yummy snacks as well.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service. Poached eggs a little overdone. Recommended a would definitely return

I think this was the best coffee I've ever had, and I drink lots!! Lovely warm atmosphere inside with friendly staff. We didn't eat anything so I can't comment on quality but I did see workers order breakfast and they were very generous in portion size. We will return again when we pass through.
