Georgina's Restaurant - Benalla

Absolutely faultless.. Would recommend to anyone, the type of food you would expect in the best city restaurants in melb and Sydney, truly an assert the benalla

Stopped in here for a very nice meal (had the salmon and risotto) - a little pricey but the food is awesome and the wine choices very nice. Recommended when you are sick of the local pub and just want a special meal.

We booked for dinner here on a Friday evening, partly based on the other reviews we read, partly on our motel's recommendation and partly because it was walking distance from where we were staying. So glad we chose it.Jade, the maitre'd and our server, was friendly, efficient, helpful with recommendations, and very professional. Since they were out of the beer my husband wanted, she suggested a similar brand that was actually probably better! Her wine recommendation was spot-on too, and both were local (ish) as well.The menu choices were all tempting; I chose the veal scallopine, which was even better than I imagined it would be, with tender veal in a lovely sauce plus roast baby potatoes and asparagus

The service at Georgina's is exceptional. If most restaurants could offer the degree of service Jade at Georgina's offers, then we'd all eat out a lot more. Her knowledge of local produce and wines is very good, and her personality matches this. Her husband prepares good quality food at reasonable prices. Very pleasant ambience as well.

Rapid service and charming environment were just two of the virtues of this outstanding venue.The owner personally attended to our every need and was able to produce just the right wine for this occasion.Remarkably all this was accompanied with reasonable servings and an equally reasonable price.
