The best Mexican food in Northern Illinois, hands down. Love the El Hombre style Tacos or Burritos. Steak, green pepper, onion and bacon!

We weren’t able to stop at our favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago but found Taqueria El Molcajete on the way home in Belvidere. GREAT food, really nice atmosphere and friendly excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!!!
