on a lovely summer weekend, stumbled on this nice brewery, next to old Beloeil and its great church. Great terrasse overlooking the Richelieu, with a great set of home brews, extremely cheezy tacos plate, and the best service ! I recommend it highly ! View all feedback.
What Lauryn Emmerich doesn't like about Brasseurs du Moulin:
If you are looking for a micro brewery in the area you definitely can not go wrong. Great setting, nice ambiance and good finger food. I am not old by any means but I did not feel comfortable here...not to say that it isn't good far from it. But if you are in the area on a hot day going for an afternoon drive or walk and you want to try a artisan beer, the setting is perfect. View all feedback.
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant, even though I didn't sample the food. The staff was friendly and they offered a great variety of beers, with an emphasis on those brewed in Québec. The view of the Richelieu River was stunning and the atmosphere was lively on Thursday nights. I highly recommend this establishment.

5 of us visited this restaurant on 24. June after a nice hike to the mountain. We were looking forward to lunch and beer on the terrace. We ordered the Mega Nachos at $34.95 and the chicken wings. The nachos looked like they had joined five years. Hardly a cheese, no stratification, burned at several places, crushed pieces on the floor... this is the saddest excuse for Nachos, which I have ever seen in a restaurant. When I mentioned to the waitress that the pan she had set before us was quite unacceptable, her answer was why? It is either used to see burnt product coming from the kitchen, or there was not really a second thought. To her credit she offered to take it back to the kitchen and make her another pan, but at this point after waiting for our food for over 30 minutes, I told her we would just eat it, but to tell the kitchen that they should do better for the next guest. Look at the pictures and you'll see what I mean. The chicken wings were also terrible. All 5 of us tried a wing and all had the same conclusion: as a salt truck had been thrown in the marinade. The meat was so salty, no one wanted a second piece. There are several possibilities with river views in the city of Beloeil. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Going on one of our favorite routes, along the Richelieu river we were going to stop at our regular go to place, however it was closed on this particular Sunday. We backtracked a bit and found this little gem. The food we ordered was great....My wife had the roasted veggies with a Cesar salad and I had the vegetarian pizza. Good stuff. Service was great but our waiter only spoke french which is not a problem for us. The decor is that of an old Quebec House with thick wood tables and all stone walls. We loved it. The terrace out back has a beautiful view of the River. Bonus! This may become our new go to spot.
My wife and I went to Les Brasseurs du Moulin in September to celebrate my first day of retirement. Friends join us to celebrate on their beautiful terasse. As micro brewery they always ans excellent list of beer selection on tap combined with great food...to match. Any time of the year, a great place to enjoy in the Old Beloeil! Cheers! Robert
