They seemed to be understaffed and service was lacking. Our waiter didn’t check on us until we were done eating. Our drinks had been empty awhile. Food was ok. The worse party was how dusty the place was. Hopefully they clean the kitchen better than up front looks. View all feedback.
We really enjoyed our meals. We were driving through Bellingham and it was a great find.
Our waitress Amber was amazing and the food was on point. You can tell they put their foot into it. I ate everything on my plate and I wanted to lick it clean in front of the chef. My hats off this place I will be back

I hadn’t been to Bayou on Bay for some time, and I have no idea why! We had a perfect night there! We ordered popcorn shrimp as an appetizer and they were delicious! We got a salad to share and it went three ways no problem. I got the Mac and cheese with fried chicken and it was the best I’ve had in my memory! My husband got Prawn Etouffee and loved it and my son got the Jambalaya and said it was delicious. Service was top notch and everyone loved their food. It made for an excellent night out!
Blackened or fried catfish are both awesome. Gumbo and cornbread were too. However, DO NOT get the collard greens! Waiter was great and food came out quickly.
