Some found the service to be disjointed and disappointing, with orders being incorrect and tables not being ready for reservations. The food was described as "ok" at best, with some dishes being undercooked and lacking in flavor. However, others praised the authentic flavors and atmosphere of the restaurant, with one reviewer comparing the black bean soup to a dish from their grandmother's kitchen. The service was highlighted as excellent by some, while others were disappointed in seating arrangements due to a private party. Overall, opinions varied on the quality of the food and service at Palomino, with some recommending it as a hidden gem in the city.
Fine seafood with a Mexican twist. Good service adds to the meal. Convenient east mid town location. Worth the typical pricey NY cost.
Amazing!! The sangria and seafood dish with the cilantro rice was so good.
The food was very good. A little pricey but the service was excellent. Unfortunately there was a private party going on so we had to sit downstairs in the bar area. Next time I would like to sit in the regular dining area or out on the beautiful patio.
The party on the patio was very noisy and the staff kept opening the door, making our table difficult to enjoy. So we asked to be moved.
Came here for a friend's birthday. Drinks, ambiance, food and service were amazing all around. I walk by this restaurant everyday and finally got to eat there. What a hidden treat. Definitely coming back!
