Stayed at this hotel to attend a special event. One night, we had no plans with our group for dinner so we stayed in and ate at the hotel restaurant. We didn't have high expectations. The menu didn't look particularly impressive, but that was deceiving. My friends had the berry salad and the fettuccine. They were both very pleased with their meals. The breakfast buffet was a bust. The scrambled eggs were bad, the bacon and sausage were like rubber and price was expensive also. Lots of area restaurants do much better. View all feedback.
Typical self serve buffet breakfast items - coffee, O.J. yogurt, eggs, sausage, home fries, selection of muffins, toast etc. - - no cereal, no waffles
We ate here for brunch on Easter Sunday with my family. My mother had made a reservation for 11, but when we got there the table only had 10 spots. It wasn't a big deal, as there was plenty of room at the table to just add a chair and place setting, but we then noticed that only half of the place settings had water and a couple were missing cutlery. The staff were very friendly, but it honestly seemed like they were overworked.Getting your food is a little strange, as you have to leave the dinning room into the hall, and then go into a separate room to get your food. I've been at buffets where the food was in a separate room before, but this just seemed more awkward somehow. Hard to describe. The flip side is that the food was quite good for the most part. The prime rib and ham were excellent, a good selection of lettuce and pasta salads, really good sausages and eggs benedict. The one complaint being that my nephew, who's a picky eater, pointed out after that there weren't any plain scrambled eggs. I didn't think of it at the time because I was happy with the selection, but it is odd to have a brunch buffet without scrambled eggs. The dessert table is in the main dinning room, with a huge selection that was very good, with the exception of the pecan pie. Usually one of my favourites, it was very bland.

Having read other reviews, I was really not happy about going here. But haven driven all day, we didn't want to drive futher for food. The dining room was, to say the least, non appealing. The waitresses were stressed, they actually ran!!!Plants had died ( management should be ashamed )So our hopes for a nice dinner was set to zero.We started out with a bottle of Pinot Grigio, which showed to taste very well after reaching room temperature. The menu is very limited, but dont let THAT scare you.We waited very long......( management should be ashamed for having only two ladies serve the guests ) to give our order, and then waited very long again before being served.Much to our surprise the food was very well prepared and good tasting. Compliments to the chef!!

I had the club sandwich and it was the absolute best club sandwich I have ever eaten. A freshly cooked chicken breast, a mound of bacon, nice cheddar cheese all sandwiched between slices of garlic toasted bread. (I have an allergy to tomato, and they had no problem with leaving them off for me).Nice time I'm passing through (or near) Belleville, I will go out of my way to stop by this restaurant and have that sandwich again.
