My husband, myself and two grown up children visited on a Saturday evening. What HLA M doesn't like about Henlow Greyhound Stadium:
We attended for a Christmas meal and ‘disco’ it could not have been further than what was advertised. The food was packet food, all veg was out of a packet, not homemade. £38 for a 3 course meal that most probably could have been bought from Tesco for £5 in total. At the arrival the rats were striping the parking lot, müll everywhere. Unfortunately, nothing improved when we came to the venue. looks like a building, health protection not existent. again the entry was free and program everywhere. boxing day is packed in the rule, but guess. kovid has a great role to play. no eating in the offer, no more dead, so could not really bet their traditional. there was a bookmaker. tannoy system very bad and cometatiw and results could not be heard. looks like the restrained of being true, how the place was run down and neglected. certainly no longer a family-friendly rip henlow stage.
We visited for a Christmas dinner and disco it could not go further than what was advertised. the food was a packet food, all veg was made of a package, not homemade. £38 for a 3 cursor that could probably have been bought by tesco for £5 overall. it was a quiet night, so would expect the atmosphere to be less welcoming, but the betting was pleasant, it was advertised as Christmas place and disco, but the only table in it itself, the lighter on as bright as possible in a solent room without music. the server continued to forget drinks, although we were the only table in the entire event that was slightly strange. would not recommend eating there.
A really funny day out. although the environment is a bit tired, the staff could no longer be inviting and accommodating. Obviously, many people were regular, who were also beautiful, helping us to understand the rennform, not that it helped us (lol) we had one such. too long time, definitiw go back to what they have paid, is exactly what they have, along with good sharpeners from the regular.
I was often with Henlow dogs and always had a good laugh. it cannot be any taste, but the place is a warm, friendly and professional setup. Food and beer prices are appropriate. offers can be bought online from their website, details. all seasonal, special functions can also be found here. the functional space is ideal for getting together bigger work if they do not fail, stand track page. whatever they are for there is always a great atmosphere, other sports are streamed, ventilated on bars tw’s. many of windows to bet. parking is free. prices and opening times are booked online. overall a pleasant experience.
A Big Thankyou to all you Guys at the Henlow Greyhound Stadium for making us so welcome .. It's the first time we have chosen your Venue ..and we're so glad we did we all had a fabulous time, Lovely Staff helpfull and friendly ..served...100 plus people freshly cooked Fish n Chips ..and nothing was to much trouble .. Let's hope we come back next year ... LB x
