My wife and I moved to the area in the spring and have been around the mall and other areas looking for a spots we enjoy. We go down to wings, get two appetizers, two entrees, and 4 beers. Our bill was surprisingly inexpensive. The pickles were fantastic, the curds are great. The fries are amazing with their own spice on it. What Abigail P doesn't like about Wings Sports Grille:
If you ever wonder why this place is dead and it’s got 3 stars, call them. You’ll be told to hold for a moment without being placed on an actual hold and listen to the bartender completely ignore the phone, and make drinks. Style points for hearing the phone get bumped and still not be picked up for 4 minutes. Only stayed on to really see if this was real life before hanging up. View all feedback.
It was a good vibe. Really good burger. Son had pizza and it was great. The drink (don't remember name.sorry) was SUPER yummy!!

If there’s a night we don’t know what to eat or wanna go out wings is our spot. Have yet to have bad food. Although, like most places since Covid, they are sometimes understaffed and it’s hard for them to keep up when it gets busy. Overall, it’s my go to spot for fair prices, cold beer, good food and friendly staff.
Friendly Atmosphere, Waitress was helpful on suggestions from menu, The order came out quickly and was fresh, hot and tasty. We weren't rushed to leave, just relaxing.... Will certainly go back
My group of 8 came on a Thursday for Trivia night for the first time. My first complaint is that I called ahead of time to ask what the recommended time was to arrive to ensure a table for 8 and was told to be there an hour and a half early. We arrived at said recommended time, and the bar was empty and only barely started filling up when Trivia was beginning. We could have easily had our table if we arrived 15-30 mins early. It wasn't until Trivia began that tables started filling up quickly. Secondly, after the bar was filled with people, we noticed our poor server, Elizabeth, seemed completely overworked. We had really slow service, but it looked like there were only 2 waitresses on the floor, and they were running around crazy. I give mad props to ours for keeping such a positive attitude and being so kind to us still. You could tell she was trying her best. Third, the food and drinks were just bland. I had 4 of the specialty cocktails and left without even a buzz. The wings were average, and the wedges were over-fried that they could have just been potato chips at that point. Lastly, our receipts for all of us were mixed up with all of us having something on our bills that belonged to someone else. It would've been easy to say our server was bad, but after seeing her constantly on her feet running between tables, it was easy to understand how mistakes happened. Trivia itself was definitely fun, but if there were improvements to the food, drinks, and service (more help), the experience would have been so much better. I wish I could say we'd be back, but it overall wasn't worth the trip.
Highly recommend Wings Sports Bar Grille as the perfect family choice for dinner and trivia! Wings are the best we’ve had in Dayton! Recommend the Hot Garlic traditional plate of 25 wings! #yum thank you Nichole for quick thoughtful service helping make such a fun dinner!
