What Smatcher doesn't like about La Bufala:
I’m not sure why other reviewers have raved about this place. The menu is very limited. There is literally only pizza, no pasta and no salads. The pizzas are good but not exceptional. We ordered coffee but they didn’t have any milk. The decor is simple and it is not particularly comfortable. Not up to the standard of other restaurants in Beaune. View all feedback.
Hidden away in a sidestreet of Beaune. The restaurant itself looks like it's been tucked away in a cellar and the toilet is laughable at best but the service and the food are amazing. Good pizza's for a good price!
Enjoyed lovely wood fired pizza, service was excellent, very busy on a Saturday night! Will definitely return when in Beaune
We came across this small family run restaurant quite by chance we were directed to another one 50metres away (which was closed . Very nice pizza, nice salads, nice wine and.... Nice people :
I've had pizza here once. It wasn't the best pizza I've had but still better than many other pizzerias. Swift service.
By recommendation I took a friend there for lunch and it was soooooo good I took the grandchild there the following week. The food and service was amazing, rocket and pear salad amazing and the crust on the 33cm pizzas are really outstanding. They have lunch time specials and there is a different menu for lunch and dinner, soooo friendly and can't wait to go back.
