The best Mexican place I have ever been to. I have been coming to this place back when it was a small hole in the wall and watched it grow over time into a fantastic spot. The food is priced fine and the portions are big. Their steak fajitas is literally a slice of steak cut into pieces and served instead of steak bits and piece like you would get at other restaurants. It's fantastic and I can't recommend it and this... View all feedback.
What Ivette Hernandez doesn't like about El Aguila Dorada:
The service was very bad apart from a cockroach in a glass cup that I requested, I told the waiter the same as the owner, they acted indifferent, I do not recommend the restaurant to anyone View all feedback.

This place is one of the best mexican restaurants i've ever eaten at. It all started with their other more modest location. I've tried many different dishes all delicious.. one of my absolute favorite things in the world is a soup they make called Pozole. Giant hominy corn pieces and a sea of pork chunks make this a hearty soup. Interesting side note: the aztec warriors used the bodies of their captive prisoners to make this soup and since the hominy corn was seen as sacred, this was an honored special occasion soup... Because of Aguila, I've been on a mission to find other restaurants who make pozole just as good and I haven't been successful. I mean, I went to Mexico and was traveling to local neighborhoods going to what they call pozolerias and sampling all of their versions of this Aztec soup, only to find that their red pozoles green pozoles and white pozoles dont quite cut it!! I hate that its only available in Aguila on Saturdays and Sundays (if it isnt sold out by Sunday morning , and only available at their original location. Within the last couple of years, they have introduced birria tacos and OMG They have been my go to when i visit. Even down to the beef bone broth consume, I sip the entire thing down!!!! You must go. You'll want to go again, and again. I promise.
Was enjoying the food until a mouse ran passed our feet! When brought to manager attention he was very rude and nasty and denied that we saw anything. Will not be returning
We always get the chicken fajitas. We've had other dishes which are very good but the fajitas are great The red sangria is a great deal. The servers help each other out.
