A hole in the wall place with excellent food! I came into Bayonne for a cruise out of port liberty and after a day of travel I just wanted something hot and easy. I had their chicken shawarma with fries and it was excellent. Fresh pita too!Their place is small so sitting room is very limited. But I had dinner at 6pm on a Friday and I could find a table. If you're planning to order online CALL THEM FIRST. They hiked up the prices by TWICE the amount and didnt bother to update their site about it. This is a classic bait and switch, which is illegal.Food: 3/5 View all feedback.
One of the best deals going. Love the food. The half chicken with rice, salad and pita is traditional and affordable. Five stars!
Fantastic food, friendly service. The lamb kebabs are great. We loved the mixed platter of appetizers. The moussaka hummus are delicious!
Ordered for the first time. Had the beef and lamb shawarma. When it arrived I couldn't believe the portion. The flavors we're amazing. Never had anything like it. It was fresh and delicious. Will be trying other things soon. Good job!

I like this place. They make delicious grilled meats. Whenever I go to A1 Grill, they serve fresh, mouthwatering food. Staff is friendly. This place is one the few halal restaurants in the area. Also, they deliver. So, I recommend A1 Grill for dine-in, take-out, or delivery.
