Sorry to hear they are closing (COVID, etc because we enjoyed our meal. The sweet potato fries were great with the side tarragon mayo and the local whitefish was delicious both on my sandwich and my companion's salad. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maggie's:
omg just ordered. what a sweat the menu sucks and so does the service. my man went back for utensils because we are on the go (if it should be pulled out) and they gave him a fork/button/button combination. I found a coffee cream spoon in our room. what a sweat and they add 18% happiness. if I had given them a dollar, I would have called him back. View all feedback.
Price is OK. not 3 signs. Service a bit slow but food was tasty and mostly homemade. Popular so be patient.
Overpriced and cramped....waitstaff are rude, food was ok. This is a small place with tables bunched together no room to move.
Don't go near closing time. There was a long wait to enjoy the kitsch of this restaurant but the added time did not work up my appetite enough to eat the burger I was served. Ordering it medium did not prevent the meat to be charred on the outside and pinkish red on the inside. It may have been due to a deeply frozen patty, or that the cooks were looking to end their shifts. Asking to have it cooked medium only caused it to be toughened, additionally charred and acquire the taste of fuel. The apathetic waitress and middle of the road dishes of the others at the table made me wish I had dined elsewhere, especially for the money spent.
A little disappointing. We were recommended this restaurant by some friends that basically recommended all of the Rice family restaurants. This was the least favorite. Maybe we ordered the wrong food, (fajita and chicken salad) but we found it to have almost no seasoning. I think you're better off getting a sandwich at Big Water than to go here.
We sat on the bar, enjoyed good beer and had a lovely light dinner. very friendly barkeeper/server. we both had the delicious French wobbles soup and share a wild rice asian salate that was very good. the best part was made the blueberry cake with local fresh berries, perhaps the best we had. only suggestion would be for another vegetarian object or two, like a Portabella sandwich.
