Bericoni - Batumi

Delicious food, everything we ordered (phali, khinkali, megrelian khachapuri, mushroom stew, harcho soup, cheburek we liked : The waitress was friendly. 10% service tip is included in the bill on top of the menu price, but overall prices are not the highest in the area.

Portions are not exactly generous (like in some other places across Batumi), and I would not call the dishes I tried here exciting either (borsch was standard and grilled pork ribs were over salted). Having just one 15yo boy as the only waiter in the evening peak hours is probably not a good idea I am sure the poor lad tried to do his best, but it was not humanly possible. So the wait time was much too long, the sauce and bread I asked for never arrived. The place clearly spoiled by its proximity to popular tourist routes.

Definitely, one of the best places we have been to. It is located on a quiet street comparing to most other restaurants. Saxophone player was really good. The menu has options, which other restaurants don't have. The staff is attentive and friendly, the food is great, would highly recommend!

My new favorite restaurant in Batumi. Food was great and even the tables around me were all talking about how good their food was. Had two types of khinkali (5 each), beer and cherry juice and the bill with 10% service charge only came to 24 lari. Waiters speak English, decent environment in the outdoor seating, will be back!
