Umami Japanese Bistro - Baton Rouge

We ordered dinner and delivered it with waitr. I ordered the hibachi steak and it had so much taste. we ordered the edamame for an app and it was still hot and fresh. we used the waiter code local5 and saved money on delivery.

Love this place! Fresh fish and excellent unique selections! The service was great as well! Just look at my photos, to die for!!

Amazing sushi, beer flight and crepe matcha cake. Will definitely come back and try more of the menu.

Umami has some of the best sushi I've ever had! Their raw sushi is super fresh and their rolls are decently sized. I ordered the Death Valley roll which was amazing along with two crunchy rolls during happy hour. I absolutely love their happy hour because any other time of the day I feel as though their regular rolls are a little pricy. However, I know that's just because of the quality of their sushi and the fine-dining sushi atmosphere they give off. My only critique was that their homemade soy sauce was super salty. I pretty much didn't even use it for my rolls, but that won't stop me from coming back! I will definitely be back soon (during happy hour)!

Sushi bar was delicious, got the oyster shooters taste of Japan and a single piece of bluefin otoro and my ticket was only $60! def coming back
