What User doesn't like about Tio Javi's Fresh-mex Grill:
When we ordered our drinks, I made the unfortunate choice of trying a Long Island iced tea, which turned out to be a huge mistake. I couldn't even finish it—I'm not sure what was in that drink, but it was terrible!
However, once we were seated at the table, our server was fantastic—no complaints there at all. View all feedback.
My husband surprised me with the date night here after I bugged him there. The chips and salsa were great. We loved the Queen. Our food was supplied hot and fresh. The drinks were good that I'm glad that my husband was driving. I would recommend everyone to eat here for a great Mexican restaurant with class.
I had lunch here with my son, who has Celiac’s Disease. The manager Blake was AMAZING. After talking with him, I had full confidence that they were going to make sure my son didn’t accidentally get gluten. When he ingests gluten, he throws up for 4 6 hours, so it’s serious. Blake even went out of his way and fried up the tortilla chips in a separate pan so my son could enjoy them. Almost all Mexican restaurants have gluten free tortilla chips, but they’re contaminated because they’re cooked in the same fryer as things with flour. I felt like we were Blake’s own family, the way he took care of us. I highly recommend Tio Javi’s. The food was outstanding.
I've actually been dying to eat here for years. The atmosphere is lovely with talavera motifs everywhere. The tables are nice and cozy. The food was absolutely delicious and came quickly. The portions were great and my husband had enough for lunch the next day. Well worth the wait!
This was my first time ever going there, and the food was delicious. The setup and service were top tier. The only thing that I didn't like and was very uncomfortable was some of the customers that we were sitting next getting upset because they weren't allowed to move tables together. They agreed to be very rude to the waiter, and he did a great job of ignoring the rudness and continued to do his job with grace. I think the manager handled them well. Had it been me, I would have escorted them out. Anyways, would I come back DEFINITELY.....
Coworker and I are here during restaurant week. Raspberry margarita was on point! The appetizer- Tuna tostada was amazing
