George's Perkins Road - Baton Rouge

I love eating at George's and it doesn't matter what place you visit. The food is always good and the beer is cold. Besides a beautiful pub atmosphere and a sweet waitress, this place had great food! Rice and beans, the daily special, and the catfish were very good! Very good sandwiches and fried food with one special every evening. The thin fried catfish is as good as everywhere, while the George's Club Sandwich with avocado and sprouts is one of their specialties. The place can be overcrowded, but prices are reasonable.

Food is awesome! Try the double decker rib eye sandwich!!

I love the chicken fingers and fries from here! And if you get an appetizer, you can easily split the chicken fingers plate with someone else and feel very satisfied. I've also tried the fried catfish plate which was very yummy! I keep craving the coleslaw that came with the catfish plate so I'll probably be back soon to get some more. I highly recommend!

Good food but not really a family atmosphere. Mainly a bar with some tables. No servers or host. No instructions, we weren't greeted so we just picked a table. After sitting 5 minutes, the bartender informed us we had to order at the bar. After ordering our burgers, I had to order fries separately because they didn't come with the burgers. Burgers were pretty good but it was kind of awkward sitting in a grown up bar with a teen son. This was our first visit, as we are from out of town.

Had a great time here. We're from New Mexico and it was really fun
