This restaurant was disappointing. The location was great and the restaurant itself looked amazing. However, the buffet was almost empty so we decided to order fresh items from the menu. The atmosphere was subdued. The restaurant's location was excellent and the interior looked great. The sushi belt was almost empty, so we ordered directly from the menu. The presentation seemed effortless, but the fish did not have the beautiful, fresh, bright colors expected of salmon and tuna sushi. The sweet red rice and tempura were delicious. However, the overall experience was very expensive and disappointing.
I recently dined at Yo Sushi and was disappointed with the quality of the food. Despite reading many positive reviews, my experience was far from enjoyable. I decided to try the "all you can eat" option, hoping for a great meal. Unfortunately, the sushi was some of the worst I have ever tasted. The rice was dry, hard, and crispy, indicating it was not prepared properly. The fish was also not fresh. While the sweet and fruit options were decent, I personally do not visit sushi restaurants for dessert. Overall, my experience at Yo Sushi was a letdown and I would not recommend it to others.
Did not enjoy at all. I have read several reviews on other sites singing the praises of Yo Sushi. With so many glowing remarks it was difficult to resist so I dove into the “all you can eat” with great hope. However, I think this might possibly be the worst sushi I have ever eaten. I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about. The rice was dry, tough, chewy and often crunchy, suggesting that it was not cooked properly. So too was the fish, which I’d rather not speculate fearing the answer. The veggies and fruit were fine; however, I (personally) don't go to eat sushi for veggies and fruit, though they are nice additions. In fairness, will say that the staff was very friendly, accommodating, and nice to be around. I will also say that choosing on of their high ticket items as a comparison was markedly better than those items going around on the conveyor belt. Not outstanding, mind you, but ok. At the end of the day I found the menu in general to be unimaginable, not very robust in flavour, and underwhelming. I might go back and give it a second chance. But then again it’s pretty unlikely.
