What esspee111 doesn't like about The Bees' Knees:
Had fish and chips, which were dark brown instead of nice and golden, which is how i see fish and chips. Not the cheapest, I think they are lookung for 'nouvelle cuisine '. View all feedback.

We called last minute to see if a group of 8 could fit after a trip to sundown adventure and were very accommodating. the food was great and the service was even better. Although this was clearly enjoyed by many natives, we felt very comfortable. they had a Christmas song while we were there, so there was a really nice atmosphere. take them, there were the owners who made the effort to come and chat and even our children some chocolate for the trip to the house! the bees knee to visit was the highlight of the day for me and so glad that we found it! Many thanks for their hospitality and if we are ever close to the future, we will try to call again. orte like these are rare in these days, they continue what they do. the best for the future of the family leeds huddersfield with the token geordie!
Authentic old fashioned country pub, very friendly staff and a warm welcome. Had the sticky chili beef and the squid for starters, very tasty and generous portion. Mains were the steak and ale pie and the surf and turf. Steak and ale pie packed with meat in delicious pastry, creamy mash and beefy thick gravy. Highly recommend this great little pub, a real hidden gem
Had a great visit with my partner Rebecca and a visiting friend. Fantastic food, craft gins for her and a selection of seven pale ales for me. Discovered the landlord Dave is like me, a Rugby man. What’s not to love!
Just reviewing atmosphere, friendliness and of course the drinks what a spot this is with 6 real ales on hand pulls. Beers from the Pheasantry Brewery and Abbeydale. Top quality beers. Really friendly staff. We went 3 times over the weekend and had a great time. Also met some great locals and other tourists. Many mention the quirkiness next time we'll try the food! Also visited the Ferry Boat which had a great deal on fish and chips 2 for £20 on Friday evening and Pheasantry beers too, got BBQ food from Doddington Farm Shop and visited Gainsborough whilst camping nearby at Trentfield Farm. Motorhomers note The Bees Knees does Britstops! Thanks Bees Knees you are the bees knees!
