'This chicken gonna change your life ' Best popcorn chicken I 've ever had. Fast, 5 mins, very fresh. Sweet Chili Thai and an amazing Sweet and Sour sauce came with it. Their pay $25 and free delivery deal is great.

I am a huge fan of fried chicken, so when I saw this place open up at the Duckworth Plaza, I had to try it out. I was a little reluctant at first, as the decor is a bit weird and the menus, a little hard to follow. It’s hard to put into words, but I just got a weird vibe from this place. None the less, the restaurant is very clean, and the young lady who took my order was very nice. I ordered some popcorn chicken, a bucket of chicken, fries and gravy. The prices are very reasonable. You get much more food and for a lot less money than your typical chains like KFC or Popeyes. Okay, but who cares right? All that matters is how good the food tastes. After all, it’s fried chicken; you only eat it because it’s delicious. I can honestly say, this is some of the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life. It’s fresh, it’s flavourful. It’s crispy and beautifully seasoned on the outside and juicy on the inside. You get a nice variety of legs wings and thighs, and good sized servings. I also have to mention the fries. I don’t usually go to chicken places for the fries, but Las Chicken fries made a huge impact on me. Impossibly crispy and yet so perfectly done on the inside. My only gripe is that they don’t give the most generous portions of fries, so I recommend you order more than you think you need (a large is about enough for two people). They use beef gravy, which is a little weird for a chicken place, but whatever. It’s super good as well and they give you a lot of it. I have saved the best for last, and if you’ve made it to the end of this review, this hidden gem is my gift to you. As I said, the fried chicken is some of the best I have ever had. But, my friends... the popcorn chicken... is like crack. Honestly, the first time I just ordered a small to try along with the regular chicken. The next time I ordered a large because it was so good. Now I will often just get the popcorn chicken cause it is so god damn good! You are doing yourself an extreme disservice if you don’t at least try this once in your life. I really hope more people discover the greatness of Las Chicken, as it has quickly become my go-to treat when I just want some comfort food. I don’t even live in Barrie but if I am ever passing by on my way home, it is so hard to resist stopping in for some Las Chicken. Their menu is a little hard to navigate the first time you go, and the staff don’t always speak the greatest English, but DO NOT let this put you off. This place is a gem and a must try for any fried chicken fans like myself. They also have great daily specials.
