I've had lots of BBQ in my life. Still like Sonny's the best. Drove from New Orleans west bank to Baton Rouge yesterday for Sonny's. My wife and I ordered dry rub ribs and pulled pork with broccoli, beans, and unsweet tea (with just a splash of sweet tea on the top). The only negative was that Sonny's no longer offers AYCE ribs on weekends and holidays. As much as I like their food, even Sonny's isn't worth the drive... View all feedback.

Was once so good, but this location has gone downhill. I’m so sad they aren’t on top of things. My garlic bread was not even toasted and hardly any meat on my sandwich View all feedback.
Hersh was a great representative of Sonny’s. Caring and helpful. Good and service was fantastic. Will be back.
My ribs were a bit tough, but it was a super fun place, I recommend

One of the best BBQ restaurants in the Baton Rouge area that still has specials on certain weekdays.
Had a lovely dinner with my son. The BBQ sampler was a little taste of everything and just what we wanted. I even had leftovers for lunch the next day!
