La Gargouille - Barjac

Let everything be clear: La Gourguille is an exceptional guest house. Whether it was the reception by Tamara and Bruno, the rooms, the pool or breakfast, everything was perfect. We have lived in many places but never with as much satisfaction as in La Gourguille. Wherever you lay your eyes, you'll see something beautiful. This opinion could be suspicious as it may seem to be saidhyrambique. And yet that’s really what we felt. One regret: having spent only one night and one day there (thank you Tamara for your invitation). But we'll be back. We come to Barjac every 5 years

Forget the old comments related not to the Gourguille but to the Gargouille (Google error! . I'm talking about a fabulous guest room held by a couple of great professionals. Home, suites, comfort and exceptional host table. Benefits in relation to the fare or even above the fare.

Ive stayed in many places around the world, but I remember few. I will remember this beautiful home, its owners, their stories and hospitality. Each room is spacious containing of a bedroom, living room, and massive bathroom with a real, Texas-size shower. Overall, there are places where people put just their money into it, and there are places where people also put their passion into it. This is one of them. Wish they had a television series putting it together. Lastly, dinner and breakfast was great! Everything was homemade and fresh!

A wonderfully charming place to stay, with such welcoming and gracious hosts. Highly recommended!

So! What do you mean? The general feeling is to leave old friends, after a simple parenthesis. Luxurious. A simple and friendly luxury. A king dinner for guests. A breakfast to the arrival. We will come back to sleep in the African room while trying to get a place to visit the Kiefer Foundation nearby. The location of the gourguille is ideal in the centre of the village.
