La Porta - BARDOLINO

My wife and I dined at La Porta twice in a few days in Bardolino, including our choice for our last night. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food’s good, the wine likewise, and the location in the middle of Bardolino’s lanes is ideal for lunch or dinner, under the Garda sky.

Absolutely lovely restaurant, very busy and a real buzz. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money and some lovely touches like complimentary Prosecco, bread and limoncello. Would definitely recommend!

We were in Bardolino a family break for my mums birthday( 5 adults for 5 nights). We found this restaurant on our second last night and ended up coming back the next night as well. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. We had brought candles and asked them to put it in a dessert for mum on the last night.. well the bother they went to was unreal. 2 Mille feuille desserts together on a plate with strawberries carved into roses and happy birthday written on the plate. See photo below. I’m not normally a huge fan of steak but I it was delicious as was the lamb, pasta, chicken and pizza. Could not fault a thing

It was a great pleasure to have been there. Very friendly and warm staff, especially to kids. Delicious food and best atmosphere. We definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
