This was the first place we visited for breakfast after a long day of travel and checking our bags in at the hotel. The owner greeted us and was very patient wi... read more This was the first place we visited for breakfast after a long day of travel and checking our bags in at the hotel. The owner greeted us and was very patient with my language barrier. He helped me order the eggs and coffee I desperately needed while being cognizant of my nut allergy. The food was all cooked well, and served with meat, and toast to make a full breakfast. I ordered an americano, which I drink black and it was perfect. The price was also much lower than expected. While we were sitting there we saw many locals coming in and chatting with the owners. (They were served without even ordering) It was such a comfortable and welcoming place to begin a trip to Barcelona. If we lived here I feel we would also become regulars here before and after work. We had it translated, but the owner spoke enough English to show me what I could and could not have. He was very kind and accommodating about it.
