We had a very good time in this excellent restaurant. In a picturesque setting, this mythical inn where Stevenson wrote the island of treasure and where so many personalities came, we were impressed by the original and subtle cuisine of the chef (who is very friendly to welcome us). many waterings before the flat-entry dessert where everything was perfect, then the coffee in front of the magnificent fireplace in the living room. perfect before hiking in the forest. excellent reception and service, very good wine card (domaine des souss gamay rouge que je recommande). only mini-plat the decoration a little old, but the frame sticks with the atmosphere of the place. We recommend.

Family lunch with 2 seniors (and vaccinated but). a hotel that would deserve a youth...Welcome and professional of the hotel master. Good lunch. succulent pigeon, refined amuse-bouche, beautiful cheese tray. But the young leader comes to turn the tables to come. without a mask! Unconscious? I forget it because he came back twice, still unmasked. I did not spoil this family moment, but I find it unacceptable to find myself confronted with this kind of situation in the presence of two elderly people while the covide galope. breef this happy young chef managed to shout a lunch that so far was a delicious moment!

Very good food, reasonably priced on a lovely terrace in beautiful Barbizon.
