Had a great meal with friends sitting outside at this restaurant in Barangaroo. Had the $75 set menu with Jamon croquettes which was delicious. Also had some lovely wine off their extensive wine list. $25 gins seemed a little high in cost though bit maybe I didn't read it correctly. The food was lovely however we felt very rushed. It was for a friends birthday and they decided not to have desert. When the deserts were brought out for other people a candle was put on their desert. It was really embarrassing watching my friend and for my friend blowing out a candle on someone elses desert. As a regular at Born I am always impressed by the level of service. Staff very polite, engaging and service standards are very high. Roddy behind the bar and Daniella looked after our table made the long lunch highly enjoyable. Food great but hope they bring back the grilled garlic prawns soon!
I had dinner here with my daughter and food and service top notch. I returned with a business group and did the set menu. Not disappointed. Great experience.
