Hands down the best coffee in diamond creek. Go there regularly, as it is a cross the road from the netball courts. The avocado toast is simple, but tasty with the wedge of lemon and rock salt. Always have a nice accompaniment to a great coffee. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Piccolo Meccanico:
Is good coffee enough? The service is somewhat surly and the junk stored in the cafe area together with uncleaned toilet and less than clean general atmosphere, have resulted in us choosing to go elsewhere. View all feedback.
The coffee here is fantastic, hence the long line. The muffins are excellent as well. This is our go-to coffee spot.
<br/ We made a pit stop on the way somewhere this morning. Hubby had his usual mocha and I had a latte. Miss Four shared a blueberry and raspberry muffin with Miss One although I 'm not sure how much sharing really went on.<br/ <br/ We had the smaller size for $4.20, a medium size will set you back $5.20. It 's a tad bit expensive for me personally and I would expect a perfect coffee for that price. We came at a busy time with a lot of take away orders on the go. But I noticed my latte had minimal foam on top and it wasn 't quite a full cup which was disappointing. The flavour itself was a bit too milky and I would 've liked more of a coffee punch.<br/ <br/ Only after my order was taken by one team member, another one handed me my take away and told me to 'let us know next time if you like it strong, weak, hot or warm etc '. I noticed him asking the customers he was taking orders for, if I had known this or had been asked by the guy taking my order I may have ended up with the stronger coffee that I like. So my advice is to let them know how you like your coffee and they 're more than happy to oblige.<br/ <br/ From what I had of the muffin, it was really delicious. Ample berries throughout and it was nice and moist, it was the hero of the pit stop!<br/ <br/ I 'd be happy to come back and try again when it 's a bit quieter and sit down for another coffee.<br/ <br/ This Mama is not so Hangry anymore. <br/ <br/ *On a side note, no pics of the coffee today as it was take away so you 'd only get a boring pic of a take away cup :-P
May the 'latte ' be with you ...<br/ <br/ Once in a while you 've stumbled across a small boutique coffee roastery with a 'funky ' operator to match, they are closing at 2 pm ... so I was lucky being served after 2 <br/ <br/ Here 's one in Diamond Creek, it 's all about the coffee, not much in set up, just lots of love and care in roasting their seasonal premium coffee beans.<br/ <br/ $4.00 for a small not borring milky latte full of characters, $6.00 for the Cronut, fuel and an hour to get there and back and may the latte be with you while you 're driving back from there. My wife goes with a group of friends after gym. The atmoshere is convivial for a group of ladies to have a girly that.
The coffee is roasted on site and is far and away the best in the area. Friendly spot with a community feel. Simple, fresh food and value for money.
