Had lunch, could believe how good the renovations are, it's opened up the balcony which allows you to see right through to Surfers Paradise, or just watch the surfer's in the water. All out doors are weather proof. Food was good, we could see that the kitchen has also had a major lift. Will be back there again for sure... View all feedback.

When our meals arrived within 5 mins of ordering I knew there wouldn't be much love on the plate. I ordered fish cakes & they were salmon patties. Husband ordered red chicken curry which was barely warm with only a handful of chicken pieces & minimal veggies. My youngest 11yo girl ordered a special of prawn cutlets & only 3 was on the plate with chips & a poor salad of mainly lettuce. I had to make something up for h... View all feedback.
We rarely have family meals out. Went for lunch today. Looked at menus and family picked what they wanted. Queued up only to find this sign when I got to ordering. How is it possible all of that is off the menu? Didn’t leave many...choices. Especially for a GF son. Was told was a wait for food so ordered dips to start … arrived with mains
Food is over priced and lacking flavour and taste. Even took my steak back to the kitchen saying it was over cooked and side salad was hot. Fresh steak cooked and was no better than the first still over cooked and side salad hot....Menu like every other surf club/pub. Great views and friendly staff that is the only positive. Chips were great.
The food at this restaurant was quite mediocre and the prices seemed a bit high for the quality. I was disappointed to see that the staff were not wearing masks, as I believe it is important for everyone's safety. I am uncertain if I will return to this establishment in the future.
I had a pleasant afternoon drinking with friends at this restaurant, but it seems like the staff are not too concerned about serving tourists. They are friendly with locals and their surfing buddies, but appear upset about the influx of outsiders. As mentioned in other reviews, the service is lacking and unprofessional. The manager or owner is very grumpy and proudly declared he doesn't care about wearing a mask. One Sunday, the music was so loud it could be heard halfway down the beach. I didn't try the food here, and based on the feedback, it seems like I made the right decision. It's a good spot for a beer in the afternoon, but that's about it.
If I could have given I would have. The stars are earned: Location: star, it’s a great location with long, wide and spectacular views to Surfers Paradise. Drinks: star for a basic selection of drinks at a fair price. Up the ante...a bit with some better craft beers and and some cocktails and the full star is earned. Amenities: star for pretty stale, mismatched and dated fit out. It’s a bit of a hits from the and with a wash of pub. Food: star for a very basic menu served in a simple way with the steaks not cooked to order. Servings were small and the sauces indistinguishable from one another. Even the staff shrugged at which was gravy and which was red wine sauce. Service: no stars. Booking though confirmed via email not honoured. Another shrug as I’m told ‘someone must have taken your table’ so we’re unceremoniously dumped on a side bar balcony. No apology, no compensation, just a shrug. Bar service was surly.
