the Glowing review in pastness is now a story. this place is no longer vegetarian. they serve seafood. they still have some vegan coookies and baked, but sometimes these are stale. if they have luck, they can get those who are not too old and still taste good. updated by previous review on 2021-12-31 View all feedback.
This place has the best home made vegan cakes. Highly recommended :D
Nice little restaurant. The food that we had was very tasty. Especialy the red curry. The vegan blueberry cake was ... just wow : Staff is very friendly.
I ordered two things when I went here. The first was a soft roll with vegetarian tuna, and that was followed by a slice of blueberry cake. To begin with I would say that I was completely underwhelmed. Just finding this cafe isn 't easy because there is no signage on the outside to indicate it 's name, or that it 's vegetarian. Check out the photos before you go to ensure that you know what it looks like. Fancying something different to typical Thai vegetarian food I asked for a croissant with vegetarian tuna, but both that and the bagels were sold out, so the only sandwich-type item remaining was a soft roll (it was about 11:15am on a Friday by this point). That got served to me, and although edible, it certainly wasn 't what you 'd term 'healthy ' vegetarian food. The white bread was a little soggy and the sandwich had been lathered with a mayonnaise-type sauce (presumably made without egg, although I didn 't check). At this point I wasn 't especially thrilled to have searched this place out, and a further frustration was that only three or four of the ten or so tables actually had napkins. All of these tables were occupied, and not wanting to disturb others who were eating, I had to resort to wiping my face onto my hands and my hands onto my chair just to clear myself of any stray mayonnaise. I subsequently got the blueberry cake, which was good enough to add a star to this review, and stopped my feeling of disappointment having come here. I asked and they confirmed to me that this was milk and egg free. I was largely a little underwhelmed though to be honest. The two ladies working here were lovely, and eating my soft roll, it was with envy that I looked over to other tables that had ordered Thai food, because that really did look good. So maybe next time I 'll opt for typical Thai food instead. Along with the cakes, that would make coming here a worthwhile trip, although even the delicious baked goods fell short one or two other choices in Bangkok that 're listed on Happy Cow. It 's a decent place, and I 'll come back again to try some different choices, and hopefully that 'll convince me to add one more star to my review.
I love this place. They have awesome vegan cakes, pastries and the best in my opinion was the croissant. There have good meals around 65 THB to lunch. Some fake meats. More about it at: [hidden link]
I cannot recommend this place enough! Since for lunch a lot of really nice large portions, the staff are really nice and friendly and helpful, the cakes were so fluffy quite sweet, but this is normal for local desserts, but seriously, so light and fluffy for a vegan cake I was really impressed. The food was simple, but healthy and came fast, and really delicious as well, I was always trying to buy a second dish! I loved to check this place in any case!
