After walking around in downtown Banff and taking photos, I couldn’t stand the cold anymore, and so I made my way to Evelyn’s Coffee Bar. Amongst the cafes I’ve visited in Banff, Evelyn’s gets the award for best coffee (or at least my favourite coffee), and they roast their own beans! I really like the atmosphere at Evelyn’s. It’s quite cozy and welcoming, which perfect for relaxing, people-watching or doing some wor... View all feedback.
What Kim O doesn't like about Evelyn's Coffee Bar:
When I travel, I like to try different cafes in the area as a coffee and pastry lover. Coffee from here was not bad, but the scone was the worst scone I have ever had. It tasted like over-baked dry crust of the muffin, and it just seemed like they didn’t use enough butter. My friend had pot pie, and it was pretty decent. View all feedback.
Really nice coffee at a cosy cafe. Friendly staff as well, and overall a lovely coffee spot. Ordered the cranberry oatmeal cookie and ham cheese breakfast muffin. Cookies are huge and delicious. The muffin was so good too! Selection of food treats look really yummy. They have a little gift shop corner too. Lots of seats but can get crowded as it seems popular. Would definitely come back :
Their hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve ever had! We had their ham and cheese croissant and the chicken pot pie, both were very good! The crust on the pot pie was light, flakey and moist. Best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had! Going to make this a must stop for a quick bite to eat. Tons of pastries/baked goods. Definitely need to try more of their items.
Great local business, that is standing out because of their massive portions/ sizes of cookies lol Be ready to stay in line on Tuesday afternoon(it shows how good they are) Delicious and huge portion desserts, amazing iced latte. When we asked about pumpkin pie, stuff pulled the recipe book and told us what's in it! Definitely visit this place when you are in Banff!
Great place to have a cappuccino and cookie. Really generous sizing and excellent quality for a very heavy tourist place. The wait time is a little discouraging but it turned out to be worth it! Try to plan your visit when you have time to spare! I went late afternoon on a weekend and waited ~30 minutes to place the order. And then another 10 minutes to receive it.
