Enjoyable dinner! We made a reservation this afternoon and sit on arrival. The restaurant was busy on Tuesday night. Freshly baked cranberry bread was good. I had the Chowder and my friend had a salad. We then split the shells into garlic wine sauces that were beautiful. I had the Wheelhouse Platter and my friend had the salmon with Dungeness Crab. Both were very good. View all feedback.
What Linda Ricciardi doesn't like about The Wheelhouse Crowsnest:
My meal included a rice dish which was served burnt. My vegetables were cold. I don't understand how you can serve something that is burnt. Parts of the rice was not edible. I did let the server know but it was not addressed. On the other hand my prawns were delicious. However I will not be back especially when your paying top dollar for your meal. They were quite busy, but the waitress was super accommodating, friendly, and on top of things. She was the hostess, bartender, and waitress on the second floor (Crows nest) but never missed a beat. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
It was busy, we waited a brief time for a table which wasn't bad. We were served some bread shortly after the beverages arrived but then it took over 20 min for the salads and probably another 20-30 for the meals to arrive. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
