What Joy K doesn't like about Pomodoro Pizza:
The waitress didn 't tell us that adding cheese on the side is more money (only from the second time) and when we told them at the end of the meal the manager started yelling at us and waving her hands at us in a way that looks like she 's going to hit us. In the place I come from we say that the costumer always rights but maybe in this place only if you scream you right. I would never go back to this place View all feedback.
The pizza was just ok, tasty enough but nothing special. They overdid the cheese on my Margherita, too. That being said, it’s a good pizza considering you’re in Phuket. The spaghetti pomodoro was very bad. The texture of the spaghetti was not good, and the tomato sauce was flat and somewhat rancid. The clams were actually pretty good, especially if you’re a fan of clams.
EXTREMELY CLEAN and FRESH restaurant. There are many delicious choices here- not only pizza. This is 100% the best pizza in Phuket. I ordered many margarita pizzas at many Italian restaurants on the island of Phuket. Pomidoro Owner Mario’s pizza is the best. If you’re also weight conscious like me, customers can order pizzas earlier in the day- not necessary to wait until after 6pm…. Mario’s authentic wood-burning pizza oven is ready at lunch time . Highly recommend !!!
Wonderful pizza, real Italian one. With the owner chitchatting with his Italian friends, it feel like in Italy. Great place.
The food here is authentic Italian and amazing! I love the pizza in particular and I wish I could find a pizza like this at home in Australia I am however Italian). The tiramisu was also amazing.
