When I arrived at Patisserie Poupon (PP) at about 4:30 pm, there was plenty of parking in front of this tiny but quaint establishment. I wasn't there long, but I did notice two large cases housing lots of delicacies, many that I didn't recognize, including cakes, pies, and pastries. Everyone there was very friendly and acknowledged my presence almost immediately. The reason for the 4/5 rating is because I didn't get... View all feedback.
What C Carcamo doesn't like about Patisserie Poupon:
I loved this bakery UNTIL i just spent 50 dollars to purchase my father a birthday cake and when my dad took a bite he found TWO PAINT BRUSH BRISTLES in the cake... The cream in the cake also tasted a bit off, a little cow-smelling. We discarded most of the cake as a result. This was a one-off event, and I would accept a refund of the purchase. The cream in the cake also tasted a bit off, a little cow-smelling. We discarded most of the cake as a result. This was a one-off event, and I would accept a refund of the purchase. Normally the cakes are delicious and totally worth the money and trip to get them over any other baker in Baltimore. This incident, however, ruined the birthday celebration as everyone was afraid to keep eating the cake... I just ask that responsibility be taken in this case and I would be forgiving as accidents can happen. Just please be more careful as people are eating your product.
Their goodies are nothing short of amazing and delicious! The BEST I have ever had. I will definitely come back.

The reason for the 4/5 rating is because I didn't get to actually eat anything but my daughter did rate (what she thought was tiramisu and a French fruit tart) them a 5/5 for taste. The only thing I really questioned was why, if it was tiramisu, they would offer an Italian dessert rather than stick with French cuisine?? All in all, I will definitely be going back so I can have a taste for myself very soon.
I love this place, because they’re pastries and desserts as good as I ate in Paris. Everything is always fresh and made on time. I love, love, love their desserts and I am a customer for life!!!!
