I enjoyed everything about this place. Get there and there were no other customers in the restaurant, so it was very quiet. Had a few rolls and an order of the shrimp and vegetable tempura. The eel rolls never disappoint but the tempura was more veg than shrimp. Nothing tasted past it's prime and price was not bad either. Overall food was decent but I really like the environment. Sat by the window and wasn't pressure... View all feedback.
FOR THE HAPPY HOURS 5 STARS A dear friend and I had been planning for a sushi dinner for a couple weeks before the start of school. I had been recommended this place by another dear friend who has told me this place has great prices for the sushi. Happy hours are completely worth it. We ordered 3 special rolls and the sweet potato tempura roll. The sweet potato tempura is A Must if you haven?t had it before. The sweetness and softness of the purple potato they used is just such a combination with rice it reminded me of my love for potatoes, and how they taste so much better when they are mixed with rice, one of my favorite ways to eat rice in Korean cuisine. The fish was quite fresh and for happy hour prices that were around $5 less than their originally worth I was more than happy with it. Service was great and we were regularly checked upon on. The layout of the restaurant surprised me in terms of how open and high the ceilings were that gave a sense of spaciousness I really liked accompanying our meal.
Went for sushi but ended up getting a bento box because it was a great deal . My friend was a bit disappointed they were out of their kinda of specialty curry dumplings but overall, the experience was quick for lunch and filling.
We stopped in at Minato for dinner before a show at the Lyric. I am so glad we did! We were pleasantly surprised to find they had a weekend happy hour on both sushi and drinks. I can?t recommend the Saketini enough. For dinner we got the kimchi dumplings which were good, but the star of the show was the sushi. The rolls were generous and delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly. All in all, I think I found my new go to spot before a night at the Lyric.
My boyfriend and I came here for a date and When I tell u a picture is worth a thousand words. Well hopefully the picture speaks for itself. The atmosphere is awesome. The owners and the employees are amazing. If I can give the atmosphere and the food 10 stars I would.. definitely will go back again
