My boyfriend and I dined at this restaurant for a date, and I can honestly say that a picture is worth a thousand words—hopefully, the photos convey the experience. The ambiance is fantastic, and the owners and staff are truly wonderful. If I could rate the atmosphere and the food with 10 stars, I absolutely would. I’m already excited for our next visit!
**Happy Hour – 5 Stars** A dear friend and I had been looking forward to a sushi dinner for a couple of weeks before school started. I was recommended this restaurant by another close friend who praised its great prices for sushi. The happy hour deals are absolutely worth it! We ordered three special rolls along with the sweet potato tempura roll, which is a must-try if you haven't had it before. The sweetness and softness of the purple potato they use creates a delightful combination with the rice, reminding me of my love for potatoes and how much better they taste when paired with rice, a favorite element of mine in Korean cuisine. The fish was very fresh, and with happy hour prices being about $5 less than the regular menu, I was more than satisfied. The service was excellent; we were checked on regularly. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's layout—the open feel and high ceilings created a spacious atmosphere that I really enjoyed while we dined.
I truly adore this quaint restaurant! They serve the most amazing sushi along with a diverse menu of other options. I make at least two visits a month since it's my favorite place, especially when I'm looking to treat myself. Their happy hour runs from Monday to Friday, featuring a variety of rolls priced around $5. Even if you miss the happy hour, the rolls are still affordable, costing about $6.50.
My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for a date, and I have to say, a picture is worth a thousand words—so I hope the photo captures it perfectly. The atmosphere is fantastic, and both the owners and staff are wonderful. If I could give the ambiance and the food 10 stars, I absolutely would. We will definitely be returning!
I had a wonderful experience at Minato. When I arrived, the restaurant was empty, creating a calm and peaceful setting. I ordered several rolls along with shrimp and vegetable tempura. The eel rolls were fantastic, just as I expected, though the tempura contained more vegetables than shrimp. Everything was fresh, and the prices were fair. While the food was good, what I truly enjoyed was the ambiance. Sitting by the window, I felt completely relaxed and unhurried, chatting away for two hours before noticing I hadn’t even been given the check.
