Love the vibe and the food here. It’s Mexican food a notch above most and the drinks are excellent. Top that with great service and you’ve got a pretty awesome restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maximón:
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner at Maximon. Food was good. The spicy margarita was amazing!! Our waitress was just okay. Took forever to get drinks, even a Diet Coke. When the band was playing it was next to impossible to hear the person across from you. Probably not a place I’d go back to. View all feedback.
The service, food, and atmosphere at Maximón were wonderful. We had a great experience and look forward to coming back in the future. Thank you!
The only reason I gave the service four stars instead of 5 is that it was a little intrusive when someone else came as our server to check us. I realized that the restaurant was trying to make sure their customers were happy. When I was a server, we were told that we should just turn to the table to allow the guests to enjoy their experience without interruptions.
Gregory, our server was absolutely amazing. Continue to celebrate family and friends events here. Food was great!
Great menu, great ambiance, and live music was played by an incredible band.
There?s good Mexican food, there?s great Mexican food, then there?s Authentic Mexican food. Maximón was authentic and offered lots of variety. Including dishes from around South America. Everything had a story and was well designed, when first looking at the menu was too focused on the price point but after feeling comfortable with our waiter (you were great Greg) I understood what I was getting myself into. The menu changes quite frequently I was told so the dishes we had may be old by the time of this review. Red snapper ceviche was delicious (I stayed in Peru for 1 month) but the quantity was too little in my opinion. I understand restaurants do small plates but for Ceviche I feel as if you should be able to have more than 2 bites per person. Guacamole was great with fresh chips, pairs well with the craft cocktails to kick off the night. Carne Asada platter was worth every dollar, it filled up my GF and I completely. 3 people could eat it, just ask for extra tortillas. Overall Maximón was awesome, I?ll be back to try new drinks and food.
