What Kelly Cooper doesn't like about Good Neighbor:
The vibe is cool but the customer service is hit or miss depending on your barista. My biggest issue was the toast. I ordered the herb toast on sourdough but they gave me the floral toast on brioche. I took a bite and it was disgusting. I had my sister in law try it as well and she said it was gross. Maybe the ingredients were bad, not sure. I would not get food here again. View all feedback.
A friend and I went here one late morning. The coffee was delicious and her tea was good. Good Neighbor is unique in its aesthetic and it feels warm and artsy. They also have outdoor seating and a plant shop. It’s truly a little gem.
I think the barista tried to kill me. There was so much matcha in my latte that my eye will not stop twitching. I wish I’d noticed before I drank it.
DELICIOUS chickpea toast. Great vegan options. Had this with the spicy pumpkin
Hard pass. Standoffish, self-centered customer service; baked goods so dry and fatless I could barely choke them down. Huge let down since the atmosphere had such potential. Not sure how places like these maintain such high ratings. Something really rubs me the wrong way about a cashier who doesn't even greet me but has no problem spinning the screen around for a tip.
I love this place, its just too popular for its own good. its always busy and there are so few seats. I had the best tuna melt of my life here, no exaggeration. The vibes are nice, the coffee is good, the food is good and the neighborhood is really dope. Walk around after you get your coffee and explore Hampden.
