For my 2nd experience I was very pleased and they have a new rating from me. I visited back in 2020 they didn't have many selections then and the food was cold. 2 years later everything on my plates was good. View all feedback.
What ראשונה מלצר doesn't like about Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet:
when they go there within 2 hours after closing, they stop eating fresh. then you have to dog them to get more food out, and if they're eating fresh, it's hardly enough for a person. they always tell me we close at 9 o'clock and I tell them it's only 7:00 o'clock. the food is good as long as they are there 2 hours before closing time. The food tastes fresh for a buffet. Sushi wasn't good, but then it's a buffet again. The service was very good with refills and clearing plates, Pretty good amount for a Wednesday night. The buffet seemed to be filled up quickly. The egg cube they had was AMAZING. I'd go back for that. My 10-year-old loved it. Adult buffet, child buffet and two sodas came to 22 dollars for dinner before drinking. Worth the money.
The staff is very friendly and helpful! Food is always fresh and good! Many food options including some American foods such as meat loaf, potatoes, etc. also has big sushi! This is the best buffet I was in St. Louis!
Visit the St. Louis area for family we were invited to Hibachi for a small meeting. From the experience in buffets in Toronto...Sonnays are pretty busy and that was of course the same in St. Louis. Hibachi is clean and well designed. Many seating and good fast service. The buffet displays are in stock as soon as possible, but there are always exceptions. The crutch of Hibachi is the food quality. It is not bad quality, just not at the expected quality you would expect. For example, instead of roasted chicken balls... You get chicken bugs. Instead of ice cream for dessert. You get ice bars or prepacked ice cups. I can continue... but there can definitely be an improvement. Our experience was pleasant, but there are possibilities for improvement. 3 stars
Asian buffet with a variety of options: sushi bar, stir fry bar (where you like the ingredients you like in it and someone prepares it before you), seafood, fruit and salad bar, ice cream, dessert bar (the cakes of dessert bar were homemade style, simple cakes)... Nothing nice, but you'll find something you like.
Where should I start? The waiter, when we were sitting, did not understand English when we took our drinks order. The smell of the place together with it warm in the restaurant was like a steam bath in fish. The food wasn't great. The chicken was dry. Everything had no taste. We have never seen our waitress so well that a tip was optional. I spent $60 for 3 of us eating here and it was a complete waste of money. I would never recommend this place to everyone. Totally disgusting and will never go back.
